Efficient, flexible, future-proof: LÄPPLE Automotive sets new standards in spare parts production
LÄPPLE Automotive is revolutionizing spare parts production with an innovative redesign of the process steps following KTL coating. By introducing a completely re-engineered production flow for sealing and packaging, we are elevating efficiency, flexibility, and quality to an entirely new level.
Instead of a rigid production sequence, we are implementing an intelligently synchronized flow production system that replaces the traditional batch manufacturing approach. The sealing and packaging processes are clearly separated and distributed across highly flexible, modern workstations – perfectly aligned with the requirements of a forward-looking industry.
In the sealing area, three new ergonomic manual workstations are being created, complemented by a state-of-the-art automated sealing cell. This advanced system ensures precise and rapid adhesive application, especially for high-demand “highrunner” components.
At the same time, the packaging process is being transitioned to four newly designed, highly efficient workstations where all materials are provided precisely as needed.
A carefully planned conveyor system seamlessly interconnects all process steps and workstations. The result is a smooth material flow and a significant increase in overall productivity.

-47% less floor space: production area reduced from 3,115 m² to 1,650 m² for improved clarity and efficiency
